I’m a Senior Instructional Designer with a Doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology and over 15 years of experience creating learning solutions that are practical, engaging, and grounded in learning science. I’ve worked across government, defense, aviation, higher education, and corporate environments, partnering closely with stakeholders to design training that supports real performance needs and delivers measurable results.

 

My work follows the ADDIE model, from needs analysis and learning strategy through design, development, implementation, and evaluation. I enjoy translating complex information into clear, learner-centered experiences and have extensive hands-on experience with tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, and a variety of LMS platforms. With a strong background in quality assurance and technical writing, I ensure every deliverable is accurate, consistent, and instructionally sound.

 

I also integrate AI-enabled tools into my workflow to improve efficiency and creativity—using AI for rapid prototyping, scenario development, assessment design, and performance support—while keeping the learner experience front and center. Accessibility is a core part of how I design, and I build learning experiences that meet Section 508 and WCAG standards, ensuring content is usable and inclusive for all learners. Above all, I’m passionate about designing learning experiences that make a meaningful impact on both learners and organizations.
